Maybe I should finally update

So haven't posted in a REALLY long time. Tonight all I did was update the title, but expect more posts with picture of course.

Today was a beautiful day and we spent a lot of it outside. Derek and Sean are having a great time digging in the dirt, and we even got a few things planted. I have also converted both of them to garage sale hunters. They found some really good stuff today. I was done with garage sales for the day and they wanted to keep going.

Jenna has not been spending too much time outside, we tend to do the yard work while she is sleeping. She is doing great, she tried green beans for the first time this week. She tends to eat kinda funny. She takes a bite and then puts her thumb in her mouth. No matter what I try she has to have the thumb in her mouth after almost every bite. It tends to make a HUGE mess. And if she's tired while we are eating, her thumb in her mouth puts her to sleep. So she has taken a couple of naps in her highchair.

Sean's first day of preschool

I am actually home ALL BY MYSELF!!!! And will be now 3 days a week for a couple of hours. Not sure what I'm going to do with my time.

Sean did amazingly well today when I dropped him off. No tears, and just a "bye mom". I had to ask for a kiss. This comes as a bit of a surprise, he has not wanted to go to school at all. He wanted to be 2 years old again so he could stay with me. He also declared school was "dumb and poopy." He cried hysterically at his first gymnastics class with out me 2 weeks ago, and he had the same teacher that he had with our mom and tot class. He could even see me during the whole class, I just wasn't right there next to him. So the fact that this afternoon there were no tears, no whining, was very impressive. I guess he's ready.

Busy week

We have had a busy week. Derek started Kindergarten and had his first flag football game last weekend. So far he is enjoying both football and Kindergarten. Enjoy the pics. Look for Sean's first day of preschool photos next week, he starts this coming Wed.

My sister is in town and last Friday we went into the city to the beach, the sun was hot, water was cold, and the kids had a blast.

The Fourth of July

We have had a fantastic weekend, went to see the fireworks at Arlington Racetrack on July 3rd, two bbq's to attend on the fourth and a relaxing evening with sparklers and pop-it's for the kids before bed. The kids loved the sparklers and even make up a fourth of july song. Enjoy.

On Mother's day one of our neighbor's brothers was visiting, and he brought his car....Paul was drooling and it looked like Derek was enjoying himself too.
